A Espanya es registren una mitjana de quatre violacions diàries. Aquestes són les dades oficials registrades i per tant denunciades.

Tot i això, la majoria de violacions i agressions no s’acostumen a denunciar i la víctima ha de conviure amb la por, amb el record i amb el silenci de no tenir proves, ni força i amb no comptar amb un estat on la llei la pugui ajudar davant d’aquesta barbàrie. La víctima queda sense veu, es converteix en un cos més davant un violador que queda immune davant la destrossa mental. (i per desgràcia també molts cops física) d’una persona que no reclamava ni incitava això.

Aquesta és la premissa d’on parteix el projecte ¿Y tú cómo me ves?. Pregunta a l’espectador com veu a una dona. Les transparències de la tela creen l’efecte visual de veure-la nua però també hi entreveus els ossos. Amb aquesta peça artística volíem criticar la visió masclista que s’estableix sobre la dona.

Les teles ens fan jugar amb la delicadesa i transparència (conceptes oposats al que s’aplica al fet d’una violació). A més, sempre s’ha vinculat des d’una visió masclista a la dona amb la costura i els teixits. Però ara, tot i estar formada per tres teles i aparentment semblar nua; segueix sense insinuar-se ni incitar a què algú la menyspreï ni agredeixi.

Sense rostre per donar veu a qui no han tingut forces per parlar.

In Spain, an average of four rapes are registered every day. These are the official data registered and therefore reported.

This is the premise from which the project And how do you see me? It asks the viewer how he sees a woman. The transparencies of the fabric create the visual effect of seeing her naked but also glimpses of her bones. With this artistic piece we wanted to criticize the macho vision of women.

The fabrics make us play with delicacy and transparency (opposite concepts to the one applied to the fact of rape). In addition, women have always been linked to sewing and fabrics from a sexist point of view. But now, despite being made up of three fabrics and apparently appearing naked, it still does not insinuate itself or incite anyone to despise or attack it.

Faceless to give voice to those who have not had the strength to speak.
